Spring cleaning SALE

Everything in my Needle & Pin Productions Etsy store is currently on sale. I am doing a little spring cleaning in preparation for some new items.

Also, take a look at this cute little case I did as a custom order for my friend Robyn.


The colors are a little off, because I took the picture with my cellphone under fluorescent lights. It's grey with a light blue birdie, and blue stitching.

Piper & Chloe

I am participating in the Piper & Chloe Boutique this weekend. Actually it starts today. If you haven't picked something up for your mother you should stop by. They have 40 different vendors and lots of fabulous stuff.

My table at the boutique is featuring my felt ipod/camera/iphone cases and handmade aprons.

I decided to take the leap and sign up for some local boutiques. I have the following boutiques coming up in the next month.

Studio 5

I was on the Studio 5 show this morning, and it was a blast. Everyone there was super nice and although I was a little nervous I think I did a good job. As I am writing this the video from today is not up on the Studio 5 site yet, but it should be by tomorrow and you can find it here.

I am going to be on TV

This coming Wednesday, Feb. 18th, I am going to be on Ksl's Studio 5. I was contacted over the weekend by Brooke Walker who asked if I would be on the show and have my Needle & Pin Production felt cases highlighted. Apparently, they had been brought to her attention from someone she knows; she thought they were cute and wanted to have them on the show. There will be some other local business owners and their products also highlighted during the segment.

The show starts at 11 am on channel 5. I am super nervous. Wish me luck!

Needle and Pin Productions

In my last post I mentioned I had a bunch of projects I was working on. Well I got a couple of things crossed off my to do list, and this has resulted in the re-launch of my Etsy store.

Previously I had used this store to sell some of my vinyl items. I have since had a change of plans. This store will be solely for the sale of my handmade, non vinyl items. With the relaunch of the store I have posted some handmade ipod/camera/cellphone cozies.

On my way with my resolutions

Beginning the new year I started with a visit to a new Dr. Yesterday I went to an Endocrinologist. She has some ideas of what may be going on, but will not know for certain until after some various tests. Yesterday, I had 10 viles of blood taken for these various tests. Since we are still in the research phase of this I am going to wait until I get more info on what this might be until I post additional details.

Also, work for Needle and Pin Productions has increased and I am hoping to have goods in my Etsy store before the end of the month. I will post when these items are listed.

Locco for Gocco

Without any children to post pictures of or humorous stories about their antics - I am once again subjecting all of you loyal blog readers to another one of my craft related posts. This post will be about my new Gocco machine that arrived in the mail from Japan. It was a long flight, and boy are it's wings tired. *badum-CHING*


I am sure some of you are wondering what's a Gocco? Well it's basically a small, self contained screen printer. I bought it in the hopes of being able to screen print designs on some of my future aprons. Of course I am going to have to learn how to use it, and find a manual in English since all of the instructions are in Japanese.

Needle & Pin Productions

For Valentine's Day I have teamed up with my friend Hollee, who owns Emberlily Design to offer designer special gift packages, that include my aprons. Yay!

Aprons, Aprons, Aprons!

Some may know that I have been working on some reproduction vintage aprons and trying to make a business out of it. Well, I gave myself the deadline of having aprons available for sale through Etsy, by February 16th. Now that this deadline has been made public I have to make it happen.

While I was working the other night, Larry decided that my fabric basket was a comfy place to take a nap. I can't really blame her, it did still have some fabric and patterns in it so I imagine it was softer than the floor.
