Yesterday was finally the day I got the see the rheumatologist. It’s been over a year, 3 doctors later and hopefully they will figure out what is causing my symptoms and pain.
The doctor seems great. He was very interested in what has been going on. He mentioned that most of the basic tests have already been run by the prior two doctors. He wrote an order to take my blood to have it tested for Lupus. He mentioned that he doesn’t think I have Lupus but wanted to make sure since some of my symptoms do match. Otherwise he is thinking that I have Fibromyalgia. This is not certain and I have a follow up appointment on Monday the 30th. Hopefully at that appointment I will have more information, an actual diagnosis and treatment plan.
Info about Fibromyalgia can be found at

I hope it's not Lupus! Good luck! I hope this guy can figure it out for you!
I'm glad you found a doctor who you like and is also proactive and it sounds like you're on the right track.
I know we don't know each other that well, but I've been down the long road of the mystery disease (took me a year and a half and 5 doctors) and I completely empathize. If there's ever anything I can do or if you'd like a friendly ear, let me know :)
