In Search of...

Beignets. These are a french donut, commonly seen in Louisiana and absolutely delicious. There used to be a place in Sandy called Crescent City that made them. But this place has gone out of business and I am not aware of anywhere else that makes beignets. I have had a mad craving for these little lovelies rolled in cinnamon and sugar. If anyone knows where I can get some please let me know.

Cuppycakes

I was sweet enough to get this song stuck in Jon's head this morning, so I thought I would do the same for the rest of you.

Marie Osmond

Jon and I are currently standing outside Takashi sushi, downtown, waiting for our name to be called and all of the sudden Marie Osmond and what I imagine are her kids walk by and take a seat on the stairs to the restuarant. I would take a picture but it would be too obvious. Obviously I am not current with my celeb news I thought she was in cali dancing with the stars.

**UPDATE**
I just wanted to point out that I originally posted this blog from my cellphone. Yes, cellphone. Isn't technology great!

What’s in this stuff?

Last night as Jon and I were driving home from his Grandpa’s house in the Millcreek area, we encountered the largest speed bumps ever. They could have easily been referred to as speed hills based upon their size. Right as we were able to drive over each of them Jon would say “Speed bump! Break it down! And then hum the tune to MC Hammer’s Can’t Touch This”.

I couldn’t help but wonder what he ate at dinner that I didn’t.

Krappy Cheese

Ode to the Kraft Single...

Oh Kraft single how I love your convenience of being pre-sliced and packaged.
You are absolutely delightful on my fried egg sandwich!

I am not quite sure what you are made of.
Although the package shows a glass of milk and says that you are indeed cheese.

I have other cheeses in my refrigerator
but your color and texture don't come close when compared.

However, I am still a fan!

Spring Vinyl Special

I was asked the other day if I could make another board like the one I made for Lissa and Travis. I decided that I would run a Spring special and offer everyone the chance to get a board if they wanted for the low price of $15.00. $15.00 is the price for a completed board - all put together!

I have several different colors of vinyl as well as paints. So, most likely I can do whatever your vision is.

Email me at SIOdesigns@gmail.com or call me if you have my number.

The board in the picture is aprox. 23"x6".

Check out the Spell It Out blog for more vinyl projects and specials I will be posting in the future.

Crazies

Jon: Did you hear that?
Me: Yeah
Jon: What was it?
Me: The crazies
